Do you have an innovative plan that focuses on Africa, Asia or Latin-America? This is your chance to submit a business plan to win €100.000 from De Investeerdersclub. NCDO and BiD Network are organizing a business plan competition to promote international entrepreneurship and inspire Dutch entrepreneurs to discover business opportunities in rising markets.
These markets are largely uncultivated and have low labor costs. As a part of this challenge you will help develop these young economies through creating jobs. Ernst&Young and De Investeerdersclub decided to invest in this competition because they have a strong commitment to economic empowerment.
How to participate?
If you have an innovative plan that includes a market in Africa, Asia or Latin-America, you can submit your idea description via www.ondernemenzondergrenzen.nl. The deadline is June 30th, 2012.
Summer School and €100.000
All submitted ideas will be evaluated using essential criteria such as professionalism, sustainability and growth potential. Those who make the first selection round will be invited to Summer School in July and August. Over the course of nine days you will learn to develop your idea to business plan. The next step will be to hand in your business plan by the 30th of September. In November the winner will get an investment of €100.000 from De Investeerdersclub.
NCDO and BiD Network
This competition is an initiative of NCDO and BiD Network that is supported by Rabobank and De Investeerdersclub. NCDO is a Dutch expertise and advisory center for citizenship and international cooperation. BiD Network is an online community where 37.000 investors and entrepreneurs from upcoming markets come together. The goal of the network is to stimulate entrepreneurship in Africa, Asia and Latin-America.
