The future of Enviu Participations

At Enviu we aim to start world changing companies. In order to start these companies, we need investments. This is one of the reasons why we set up Enviu Participations, where we bring together our Enviu start-ups, such as Three Wheels United and Sustainable Dance Club. We planned to finance all of Enviu’s activities through Enviu Participations: the development of idea’s, the start-up of social ventures and the support and growth of these ventures.
Investors
However, most potential investors informed Enviu that they would rather finance one activity at a time. Some investors are interested in making funds available for the development of ideas, while others want to invest in individual start-up companies.
It turned out to be impossible to bring all this together in Enviu Participations BV. That’s why we decided to make it possible to invest in each activity separately. For Enviu Participations BV this means that it still will be the holding company of our world changing start-ups, but no longer will function as a vehicle for large external investments.
Enviu crowdfunding
We sent an update to the people who invested in Enviu last year. They were responsible for investing 100.000 euros and we made them aware of what this decision means for their investment.
