Sustainability in Zuid-Holland: AIDA student assignments
Posted on 25 July 2012 by Fransje de Gelder in News, Our work
AIDA, one of the projects Enviu performs in Enviu Services, links students to organizations in Zuid-Holland to work on multidisciplinary (research) projects on sustainability. Besides mediating between teachers, students and clients, we offer an inspiring workplace, good coaching and a large network.
In the last semester a total of 16 students worked on assignments, from investigating the potential of sustainable retail business ideas to researching Silence policies in European cities, via sustainable logistics and a success analysis of an energy use agreement in the flower bulb sector. Diversity rules! Most of the assignments have been completed or will be this summer. You can check out the main results on the website (mostly in Dutch).
As a student do you:
- Need an internship assignment?
- A challenge to work on in a minor?
- Want to brainstorm with several students?
The good news is: the next assignment could be for you!
We are very busy adding new assignments every week, mainly for the period directly after the summer holiday (September onwards). It’s not just individual assignments, also groups can often get involved! Note that most assignments are most suitable for Dutch-speaking students. At the moment there are 5 assignments available for students to sign up for.
