In 2012, we decided to focus more on India. The improving economic circumstances together with the still huge challenges Indian society are facing have proven to be an excellent breeding ground for us to start new projects. Jesse is therefore currently present in Gurgaon, India, to work on all our Indian start-ups and scout for new opportunities.
After more than two months of scouting for best practices in healthcare and gathering inspiration, the Open Health Community has prepared an elaborate challenge for the second phase of the project. As of last week community members are able to upload their own business idea focusing on how to empower cancer patients.
We’d like to introduce you to our latest project, Janta Meals, which literally means ‘People’s Meals’. The plan is simple: we are going to set up a chain of community kitchens in India where we sell healthy Indian food, so we can provide slum dwellers with nutritious and affordable meals!
We are proud to present Enviu’s first Year Overview! For the first time Enviu created a Year Overview. Why? We thought it would be nice to give you an overview of everything that has been going on at Enviu during the past year. We hope that our projects, events, challenges and ideas inspire you!
