Enabling circular economy via sustainable behavior design
As a Program Lead for Zero Waste Living Lab at Enviu Indonesia, Darina helps leverage the impact and solutions of what her venture builder colleagues are creating. Using the top-down approach to enable an ecosystem for reusables, advocating, fundraising, partnership, public relations, and project management is part of her daily tasks, aside from planning the best restaurant to take the team out at the end of every month.
Darina is a venture builder by the day, and a designer at heart. She is a circular economist, with six years of experience building a series of ventures and doing research on impact, both nationally and internationally. She has a Master’s in Sustainable Behavior Design from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Although Darina is busy building ventures and representing Enviu at circular economy events (nearly every day), she does not find any imbalance between her work and life. “Because I love building companies,” she says — so much so that Darina has built a restaurant and a design studio with her friends. As a shareholder, she loves the idea of growing impactful businesses since it is the era for people, the planet, and profit.
