Build ventures that make farming resilient, profitable, and satisfying
Reuben is the “resident farmer” at the Enviu East Africa office. With his background in agricultural economics, natural resource management, and rural development, he engages with a range of actors who work directly and indirectly with the agricultural sector to identify gaps and opportunities and develop solutions through venture building.
As a venture builder associate, he works with other venture builders to ideate, validate, and grow venture concepts that facilitate systemic change within the agricultural sector.
Because, to him, agriculture is the ‘fuel for life.’ Working with the best people in the sector has helped him understand diverse relationships and has made him even more committed to making the sector strong and resilient.
And so, when not building ventures, he looks for opportunities to work on a farm, besides enjoying occasional hikes and watching documentaries.
